This modern apartment is located in the heart of Newquay and features two double bedrooms, a sofa bed, and stunning views of Watergate bay from the upstairs bedroom. A perfect location to explore Newquay on foot whilst still enjoying a peaceful night’s sleep.

The space

The newly renovated apartment features a bright open plan living space, with a well-equipped kitchen, shower and downstairs toilet, a stunning open-planned loft style upper bedroom and an additional double bedroom on the lower floor.

The kitchen is equipped with newly purchased cutlery, plates, pans, baking trays and other utensils. It features an electric oven, induction hob, extractor, toaster, kettle and microwave.

The living space features a smart TV for guests to relax after a fun day surfing, spotting seals in Newquay harbour, enjoying the town’s great restaurants and bars or enjoying all the other family-friendly activities this thriving beach town has to offer such as coastal walks, Blue Reef Aquarium and Newquay Zoo.

The flat contains multiple surf-inspired lights and general household lights for guests to select their desired level of lighting ambience. With a comfy sofa in the lounge area, which can be used as a sofa bed on request, and a modern dining table, there are plenty of options to enjoy time spent in the flat.

Both bedrooms feature recently purchased comfortable double mattresses, several options for lighting, space to hang your clothes and a tropical beach theme appropriate for a stay in the UK’s best-known beach and surf destination.

For the best food in town, Harbour Chippy (seasonal, closes for Winter but has a gluten free & vegan menu), it is definitely our favourite chip shop that we’ve ever been to!

Looking for the true Cornish experience? Your trip won’t be complete without a pasty! We recommend Malcom Barnecutt - just a short drive from our flat. Other good options are available in town too, but talking from experience Barnecutt’s is hard to beat!

We are a very short walk to The Towan Blystra Wetherspoons.

Around 10 minutes walking and you’ll have the choice of plenty of pubs serving good food in town such as Sailors (turns into a nightclub at weekends), The Fort Inn, Central Inn and Concho Lounge.

There are also great options near the famous Fistral Beach which is a 20-25 minute walk from our flat or a very short drive (we always walk but there is plenty of parking around the area too). Our favourites here are The Stable (great pizza and cider) and Fistral Beach Bar, a cool location with fantastic views of the surf, and definitely the place to be at sunset! There is also the renowned Rick Stein’s restaurant here.

For later night entertainment there are many clubs open in the summer, and plenty of late night bars/pubs to choose from such as Bertie O’Flannigans Irish Bar, Walkabout and Belushi’s all within a 10 minute walk. We like Walkabout and Belushi’s the most, both have great sea views!

For coffee enthusiasts, there are plenty of chain coffee shops in town, but for recommended local spots there is Coffee On The Corner just a couple of minutes walk from the flat and Saltd serving daily homemade cakes.

There is a large Asda supermarket just a five minute walk away, an Aldi slightly further, and also small Tesco and Morrisons express stores within 10 minutes of our flat.

House rules

We offer flexible check-in & check-out times, however where we have guests coming or leaving the same day we may apply usual check-in times after 15:00 and check-out times before 11:00.

There is a keylock box available so collecting the key and access anytime should be possible. You will need to return the key to the keylock box when you checkout. We require you to provide your arrival and departure timing to agree checkin and checkout times so we can coordinate with other guests. If you stay beyond your agreed check-out time you will be liable to pay for an extra night at your average nightly price.



The cleaning fee covers cleaning and preparation of the property for your stay as well as a set of fresh linen and towelling provided for each guest. This includes one set per your stay, should you require additional towelling or linen please request this or if you have opened a fresh pack even if you use only a few items there will be a charge of £30 per pack - each pack contains fresh linen, large and small towels.

Any sort of parties, gatherings or events are strictly not permitted, the property is for accommodation purposes only for the guests staying. This property is located in a residential area and guests are asked to refrain from excessive noise or any activity that would disturb

the neighbours. If it's been reported that there are any parties or events or noise disturbance then you may be required to leave the property immediately without the remaining nights being refunded. There is a charge of £500 if any evidence of a party, gathering or event at the property have been found exclusive of any charges relating to damages or additional cleaning costs to get the property in good order again. We trust you will respect the property and neighbours during your stay.

You are required to keep the place reasonably clean & tidy - no dirty dishes left over or excessive rubbish to be disposed of as this is not included in the cleaning charge. If the place is very messy or untidy or there is excessive rubbish to be disposed of then we will need to request an extra cleaning fee.

There is a strictly no smoking policy inside or in any outside spaces (which includes garden spaces, balconies, terraces or patios) belonging to the accommodation, if this policy is not adhered to a charge of GBP 150.00 will be applied

No pets are allowed unless shown on the listing as permitted or expressly agreed with the owner.

Lost keys, damaged keys or getting locked out will incur a charge starting from £100 for replacement depending on the type of key and time required or getting you back in the property if you have locked yourself out.

We do not accept Cash payment for any of the charges mentioned above.

Guest access

Guests will have full access to the property, with entrance via a key safe and two small flights of stairs.

We engage the services of a professional management company to ensure we are always contactable, and your stay is stress free.

Other things to note

Just a short walk away from the town, train station and Newquay’s fabulous beaches!

The apartment provides space for up to six guests and features private off-street parking for a medium sized car to the rear, and typically available free on street parking out the front.

Parking is accessed around the back of the property, via a lane, with parking bollards (key provided with flat keys). More parking is usually available on street for free outside the front.
We generally find the flat to be warm enough, however each room contains an electric heater that only needs to be switched on at the plug and should be on the right setting for your convenience.
Please always lock the building front door of the building when leaving, out of respect for our neighbours.
For added privacy and security, the flat front door has two front locks and a deadlock latch when you’re inside.
