  • You have to remember that London is a big city and travelling from zone 3 to zone 1 will take at least 30 minutes using public transport. It is recommended to avoid travelling during peak hours- 8:00-9:30 and 17:00-19:00- when most londoners go to work and the subway and the busses are crammed.

  • As in any big city, pickpockets are a problem for tourists. So make sure to watch  your belongings especially in crowded areas.

  • Renting a car in London is not recommended since parking is very expensive (it varies depending on the zone, but it starts from  £5/h in the historic center of London) and driving in zone 1 and zone 2 is subject to the congestion charge which is £10 a day. Taking an Uber or the tube will save you a lot of money and time.

  • If sightseeing is your cup of tea, London offers a wide pallette of museums and galleries for free. However, there are some other iconic tourist attractions such as the London Eye, Madame Tussauds, Sea Life Acvarium which have an entry fee. You can save up to 50%  by buying a package including at least 2 of those attractions.
